I was interested in the reason for nonvoting among different demographic groups.
The variation in PC1 is explained by demographic groups who reported illness, transportation problems, and nonresponse vs. out of town, registration problems, and too busy as reasons for not voting.
PC2 is characterized by non-interest in voting, disliking the candidates or campaign issues, forgetting to vote, and inconvenient polling location vs. ilness and concerns about the COVID-19 pandemic.
